How to Enter
3 Steps. One Real Introduction.

Complete Your Profile
Download JobTag and complete your candidate profile to 100%.
Add your profile photo, personal and job details, skills, Reel and resume to complete your Profile Checklist.

Enter the Contest
Choose the Reel you recorded while completing your profile.
Enable “Reel for Contest”, select the challenge and submit your Reel for approval.
Once approved, your Reel becomes your official contest entry.

Spread the Word
Once approved, your entry is complete. If you’d like, help us spread the movement.
Share the movement on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, tag us using the correct handle and invite others to join #BurnYourResume.
Sharing is optional and does not affect your contest entry.

The winner will receive a $10,000 Career Grant designed to support their next step. The grant can be used toward education, training, certifications, professional equipment, relocation, career development or other approved opportunities that help the winner move forward.

* $10,000 JobTag Career Grant
The winner receives a $10,000 Career Grant, tailored to their goals and circumstances. The grant may be delivered through a combination of the following:
Cash support: Paid in agreed installments toward the winner’s career development.
Education & training: Tuition, courses, certifications, professional qualifications or workshops.
Career tools: Equipment, software, professional clothing, portfolio development or other resources genuinely needed to progress.
Relocation support: Costs associated with moving for a new job, internship, training program or career opportunity.
Professional services: Coaching, relevant résumé or profile development, photography, video, or legal and accounting support for someone starting a business.
Founder mentorship: Direct one-to-one sessions with JobTag’s founder focused on career direction, positioning, opportunities, decision-making and navigating the realities of building a career or business.
A combination of the above: Designed together with the winner around their goals, with a combined grant value of $10,000.
Celebrating the Winner
With the winner’s consent, JobTag may feature the winner, their winning Reel and their story as part of the Burn the Resume campaign.
The winner can choose how their public identity is presented. Private account information, contact details and internal JobTag identifiers will not be published.
Beyond announcing the winner, JobTag may follow their journey and highlight how the Career Grant is helping them take their next step.
All grant support is subject to eligibility, verification, documentation and JobTag approval. The combined value of all payments, reimbursements and other grant support will not exceed $10,000. See the Official Rules for complete terms.
